The package comprises €6 million in equity led by Kvanted, with Tesi and the EIC Fund participating; a €2.4 million EIC Accelerator grant; and a €1.6 million loan from Nordea.
From specialist production to larger volumes
Vexlum develops laser systems based on Vertical-External-Cavity Surface-Emitting Laser technology, or VECSEL. The technology supplies high-power light at precise wavelengths needed by demanding scientific and industrial systems.
The company plans to expand its semiconductor manufacturing facilities in Tampere and increase production capacity. The investment targets growing demand across quantum technology, semiconductor manufacturing and space applications.
