Persistent monitoring from the air

Kelluu designs, manufactures and operates autonomous airships for collecting data over wide areas. Its applications span defence surveillance, critical infrastructure and environmental monitoring.

The company has tested its platform in northern conditions and environments affected by satellite-navigation interference. According to the funding announcement, its fleet had logged more than 50,000 kilometres of flight, including 12-hour missions in Arctic conditions.

From DIANA to venture investment

The investment follows Kelluu’s completion of two phases of NATO’s DIANA programme. The company plans to use the capital for international expansion, technology and AI development, a larger fleet and recruitment.

The round combines specialist defence investors with Finnish growth capital behind technology developed for demanding operating environments.
