Antennas that fit the platform
Metaktik develops thin metasurface antennas that can conform to a platform’s shape. Potential applications include drones, ground vehicles and satellites, where weight, space and integration can constrain conventional antenna designs.
The technology originated in Aalto’s space-technology research. The founding team comprises CEO Tuukka Kuuramaa, CTO Ville Lundén and Professor Jaan Praks.
From research to commercial products
Maki.vc is among the investors backing the company. The financing supports the start of commercial operations as Metaktik seeks partners in aviation, space and defence to develop products around its antenna technology.
