A shared address in Kamppi

Designed by Alvar Aalto and completed in 1973, the building originally served Helsinki’s electricity utility. Its five floors now bring technology companies and startup organisations into closer daily contact.

Slush moved into the building in July, adding its year-round activities and international networks to a community that includes Founders House and Wave Ventures.

Early companies, international connections

Last Accounting Company and The Token Company, both of which developed their early stages at Founders House, were accepted into Y Combinator in 2026.

Kasvutalo adds to an existing concentration of startup activity in Kamppi, alongside organisations and companies such as Maria 01, Wolt and Aiven.
