Sensofusion has raised €45 million in Series B financing. Varma’s participation was disclosed on 8 January by its legal adviser, Avance, adding institutional backing to the Finnish counter-drone technology company.
Sensofusion develops systems for detecting and countering drones. Its customers include military and law-enforcement organisations internationally.
The financing announcement adds to the evidence of investor interest in Finnish defence technology. The disclosure confirms the size of the round and Varma’s participation, without identifying a lead investor or allocating the proceeds to specific projects.
The Finnish counter-drone company has listed on Nasdaq Helsinki, raising capital to expand its technology, production and testing capabilities.
